I want to start off with a quick tip on making a signature in a forum. If you belong to a forum you need to take advantage of the signature section. The most effective technique is to add a signature that links back to your website or blog (etc). While most people do this, they do not take full advantage of the linking ability. For example, a lot of times I see people adding a signature with a link back to their site; typically it looks something like “http://www.yourwebsite.com.”.
–Even better is to add a signature with a keyword as the link back to the site or blog!
To add a signature with a keyword as your link:
- Copy and past between the [url][/url] tags (code is below)
- Modify the code below with your own personal url and keyword.
- Add the code to your forum signature.
cut and past between the [url] tags–
[url=http://designblog.reichelgraphicdesign.com/]Graphic design and website design tips[/url]
this will produce a signature with a keyword link of, “Graphic design and website tips”. Now that is powerful spider food / seo!!!!
